The Secretariat of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects is responsible for the Institution’s day-to-day management and coordination. It supports the Board, Council, and Committees in delivering RINA’s mission, overseeing membership, events, publications, and professional standards. Through close collaboration across departments, the Secretariat ensures the smooth running of the Institution and provides direct support to members and partners worldwide.

This team manages RINA’s financial processes, including invoices, payments, and supplier relations, as well as office administration and internal compliance.

Membership Department

The Membership Team handles applications, renewals, upgrades, and professional registration (CEng, IEng, EngTech). They also support members with CPD and benefits.
