Published yearly in a hardback bound volume, the Annual Report and Transactions contains all notable papers published over the course of that year, as well as the Institution's activities. The Annual Report & Transactions is available on subscription to RINA members, or individual purchase for non-members.
The International Journal of Maritime Engineering
Since its founding in 1860, the Institution has published more than 5,000 peer reviewed technical papers covering research and development in all sectors of the maritime industry. The most famous papers by William Froude were published in the IJME. It is the eldest technical journal in the industry, and provides a forum for the reporting and discussion on technical and scientific issues associated with the design and construction of commercial marine vessels.
